> **TL;DR:** Pick by what happens after the vote. If you only need a board people can upvote, Upvoty or Sleekplan will do. If you want feedback, roadmap and changelog in one place, look at Frill, UserJot or FeatureOS. Canny suits teams that want the default most of their peers already use. Featurebase charges per seat, so it gets expensive as more teammates need access. FeatureOS sells seats in bundles, which keeps the bill predictable as the team grows.

Every SaaS team collects feature requests. Most collect them in five places at once: support tickets, sales calls, a Slack channel, a spreadsheet. A feature request tool gives those requests one home, lets customers vote, and tells them when you ship.

The seven tools below all do that core job. They differ in what they bolt on, who they are built for, and how the price moves as you grow. We make one of them, so read the FeatureOS section with that in mind.

## What to look for

- **Voting and merging.** Duplicates pile up fast. You need to merge them without losing the votes.
- **A public roadmap.** Customers want to see that a request moved, not just that it was logged.
- **A changelog that closes the loop.** When you ship, the people who asked should hear about it.
- **Pricing that fits your team.** Per-seat pricing punishes you for letting support and sales into the tool. Check how the bill changes at 5, 10 and 20 people.
- **Where feedback comes from.** A widget inside your app beats a board nobody visits.

## Featurebase

Featurebase covers feedback boards, a roadmap, a changelog and a help center, and has grown into support tooling too. It is fast to set up and the interface is clean.

**Best for:** teams that want feedback and support in one product and have a small number of people who need seats.

**Trade-offs:** pricing is per seat. On yearly billing, Growth is $29 per seat per month, Professional $59 and Enterprise $99, with a free plan for one seat ([featurebase.app/pricing](https://featurebase.app/pricing), as of October 2026). Five seats on Growth is $145 a month. Ten is $290. The more of your team you invite, the faster that grows. See the [Featurebase pricing breakdown](/blog/featurebase-pricing) or run your own numbers on the [Featurebase comparison page](/alternatives/featurebase).

## Canny

Canny is the name most people know in this category. It has feedback boards, voting, a roadmap, a changelog and a long list of integrations with CRMs and issue trackers.

**Best for:** teams that want the established option and lean on integrations with tools like Jira, Linear or Salesforce.

**Trade-offs:** the cost climbs as you grow, and some features sit behind higher plans. Check what you need against each tier before you commit. More detail in our [Canny comparison](/alternatives/canny).

## Frill

Frill keeps things simple: ideas, a roadmap and announcements, with a widget you can drop into your product. It looks good out of the box.

**Best for:** small teams that want a tidy feedback loop without much setup.

**Trade-offs:** it is deliberately light. If you later want surveys, a knowledge base or deeper prioritization, you will be adding another tool. See the [Frill comparison](/alternatives/frill).

## UserJot

UserJot is one of the newer tools here. It covers feedback boards, a roadmap and a changelog, and it is built to be quick to start.

**Best for:** early-stage founders who want something up today and do not need much configuration.

**Trade-offs:** a younger product means a shorter feature list and fewer integrations. Worth watching, but check that it covers your workflow now, not on its roadmap. See our [UserJot alternative notes](/dossier/best-userjot-alternative-featureos).

## Sleekplan

Sleekplan bundles feedback, a roadmap, a changelog and simple satisfaction surveys behind one widget.

**Best for:** indie developers and small teams on a tight budget who want a bit of everything.

**Trade-offs:** breadth over depth. The pieces work, but each one is simpler than a dedicated tool. See the [Sleekplan comparison](/alternatives/sleekplan).

## Upvoty

Upvoty is built around voting boards and a roadmap view. It is easy for customers to use and easy for you to run.

**Best for:** teams that only need a place for customers to post and vote.

**Trade-offs:** it is focused on voting. If you want surveys or a help center, you will need other products for those. More in our [Upvoty alternative notes](/dossier/best-upvoty-alternative-featureos).

## FeatureOS

[FeatureOS](/) is ours. It covers [feedback boards](/boards), [roadmaps](/roadmaps), a [changelog](/release-notes), a [knowledge base](/knowledge-base) and [forms and surveys](/forms-and-surveys) in one workspace. Votes, roadmap status and release notes are linked, so when you ship a request, the people who asked get told. Changelogs can be auto-translated into 21 languages.

**Best for:** SaaS teams that want the whole loop, from request to roadmap to release note, and want support and sales in the tool without paying per head.

**Trade-offs:** there is more product here than a single voting board, so setup takes longer than Upvoty or UserJot. There is no free plan; paid plans start with a 14-day free trial.

**Pricing:** seats come in bundles. Starter is $60 a month for 5 seats, Growth $120 for 10, Business $250 for 15, and extra seats are $15 each. See [pricing](/pricing).

## How to choose

1. **Only need voting?** Upvoty or Sleekplan.
2. **Want a light, all-in-one loop for a small team?** Frill or UserJot.
3. **Need deep integrations and the familiar name?** Canny.
4. **Want feedback and support together, with few seats?** Featurebase.
5. **Want feedback, roadmap, changelog and docs together, with a team that will grow?** FeatureOS.

Whichever you pick, test it with real requests from your last month of support tickets. You will learn more in an hour of that than from any comparison page, this one included.
